Your new smile should be as unique as you. In our practice, our porcelain veneers are custom-crafted to produce your ideal look. Through a partnership between Cincinnati’s leading cosmetic dentist, Dr. Fred Peck, and his Accredited Fellow master ceramist, we are able to guarantee beautiful results. As such, we don’t use Lumineers, which require the use of their own laboratory technicians.

Lumineers: Just a Brand

Lumineers are a well-marketed brand of the DenMat company. As discerning consumers, we understand that just because a brand advertises itself well doesn’t mean it’s the best. In fact, when it comes to porcelain veneers, there’s not really a “best” brand. Many brands can be used to make a stunning smile because the success of the makeover has very little to do with the brand of porcelain veneers that are used. Rather, the quality of the finished result lies in the partnership between the cosmetic dentist and the ceramist. A successful partnership depends not only on the expertise but also on the collaboration of both professionals.

Dr. Peck and his master ceramist are both Accredited Fellows of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a title earned by fewer than 100 cosmetic dentists and fewer than 10 technicians worldwide. Working with an unknown technician from an impersonal lab—like the one in which Lumineers are fabricated—cannot possibly guarantee the level of results we provide our patients.

In the decades he has served as a cosmetic dentist, Dr. Peck has tried Lumineers only twice, only to discover that the results lacked the proper color variation of natural teeth. That’s not the level of excellence we want to provide for our patients.

Our Porcelain Veneers

In our practice, we don’t push a particular brand of veneers. Instead, we custom-design your new smile according to your individual aspirations. Dr. Peck creates provisional veneers for you to wear to give you plenty of time to try out your new smile before your porcelain veneers are crafted and placed.
